If you're seeing this instead of the web site you were expecting, the owner of this web site has just installed Plone. Do not contact the Plone Team or the Plone mailing lists about this.

Get started

Before you start exploring your newly created Plone site, please do the following:

  1. Make sure you are logged in as an admin/manager user. (You should see a Site Setup link in the top right corner)
  2. Set up your mail server. (Plone needs a valid SMTP server to verify users and send out password reminders)
  3. Decide what security level you want on your site. (Who can join, password policies, etc)

After that, we suggest you do one or more of the following:

Plone has a lot of different settings that can be used to make it do what you want it to. Some examples:

The Cambridge Faculty of Architecture & History of Art invites applications to the 2020 round of the Leverhulme Trust early Career Fellowship competition

This prestigious scheme aims to provide career development opportunities for those who are at a relatively early stage of their academic careers, but who have a proven record of research.

Applicants should contact an academic who works in their area of research, and who could act as their mentor, to discuss their proposed project as soon as possible.

The Faculty operates an initial internal selection process whereby two applications are shortlisted.

Deadlines

  • Candidates must send their applications for the internal selection process to researchoffice@aha.cam.ac.uk by
     4.00pm 16 December 2019
  • Departments will send supported applications to the Isaac Newton Trust to arrive no later than 13 January 2020
  • The Trust will inform candidates and departments of those selected in good time for them to be able to apply for a Leverhulme award by the national deadline of 27 February 2020, 4pm.
